Wizard’s Familiar
Bronwyn was born a tiger. Two years ago, she shifted into a human for the first time and learned the females of her bloodline or shifters. She agrees to participate in experiments at a small zoo in the Midwest and exchange for her family’s protection. Her goal is to get pregnant, give the scientist, her offspring, return to her home up north. That is, until she meets Dante.
Dante has lived alone for centuries. As a wizard, he doesn’t age, but not even magic can save him from cancer. After his cat familiar dies, he casts a spell to summon another familiar. When instead of a cat Bronwyn appears in his shop, Dante is certain his magic is waning.
To satisfy her tiger form’s desire to protect Dante, Bronwyn becomes employed at his magic shop. Unexpected is the attraction she feels towards the human.
Dante fights, his growing attraction for fear of hurting someone he loves upon his death. Bronwyn struggles with newfound human emotions, such as love.
How will Dante fulfill a tiger shifter’s needs when she goes into heat? How will Bronwyn react to the news that the human she has feelings for is dying?
